About ELK

Elk Motorsport started 24 years ago it was the brain child of David Kirk one day he was asked if he could build 10 go karts for another kart circuit. As David by trade had spent most of his life running his garage businesses and building and racing rally car’s he thought this would be a challenge he could rise to. After finishing the ten karts he decided to make some more and find a place for his own go kart circuit after looking around he found a disused world war 2 air strip and thought this would be the idle place to start. Since then his two sons Tav & Giles have joined the business.

Tav & Giles have spent many years go kart racing taking many titles, including British championships and racing on behalf of England.

To this date we still run an outside go Karting circuit we also still manufacture our own race karts for many race classes bust also build our fleet of leisure kart using the knowledge we have learnt through racing to give your the driver an unforgettable drive of your life.
